In December 2000 Linda Pilkington sat down with James Pyott in her small workshop in North London and they hatched a plan to create a new luxury label called Ormonde Jayne …now a luxury perfumery to the stars.
Whilst the designs have changed over time the core aspects of the initial brand criteria remain, giving Ormonde Jayne a distinctive and celebrated style. Striking hot orange, elegant type, space and balance, clever packaging shapes and material finishes all play their role in producing a breathtakingly stylish brand. Linda has gone on to build an impressive empire stretching across the globe a vision which was set out at that initial meeting in that tiny workshop, and demonstrates the power of joining entrepreneurs with designers to build new and exciting business, brands and markets.
