When we created the Metropolitan brand for Christina Ong’s COMO Resorts there were few contemporary luxury brands to inspire us. Our solution was to create at a classical luxury brand, then introduce elements to modernise and ‘informalise’ its appearance. The result is a timeless marque that manages to be both elegant and ‘cool’. Brand applications where also a key deliverable – ensuring consistency and coherence of experience at every touchpoint – as was the creation of a sub-brand for the celebrated Met Bar.
